Background
The Gottman Institute Brand has provided research-based couples therapy resources to couples and therapists for over 30 years and they were looking to bring that experience into the future

Challenge
The goal of this project was to revamp the illustrations on their website to modernise, to make the illustrations more inclusive, and to inject a bit more whimsy and approachability into the brand.

Solution
I created illustrations that represent diverse figures while living within the brand colours. The figures were made purposefully smaller than the tasks they interacted with, to highlight the need for collaboration and to inject that bit of whimsy they were after. We also decided to include animations in certification tracks to give users that little shot of dopamine while completing long tasks.
